With love for all our neighbors in northern Virginia and beyond, we seek to live God's love through programs of service. Explore the menu on the left for more information on various outreach programs.

At Redeemer there is a program that needs your talents and energy and that will recognize and reward your service. Along with the programs listed to the left, Redeemer is heavily involved in many outreach activites.

Toiletry Samples

During VBS, the children were able to put together 80 “toiletry bags” for the homeless. For some time now we have been collecting toiletries for N Street Village. In you have collected any samples over your summer business or vacation travel and would like to donate them, we will have a brown basket in the Fellowship Hall starting July 27. Thank you!

Russian Seminary

You are invited to a unique opportunity to meet and hear from Anton Tikhomirov, new leader of the Evangelical Lutheran Seminary in Novosaratovka, Russia. The seminary ministers to students throughout Russia. Anton will be our guest preacher at Redeemer at all services on Sunday, July 27th, and there will be a brief reception after each service. In addition, we will have an informal dinner here at church on Thursday, July 24th at 6:30 pm with Anton as guest of honor. He will share stories and pictures of this groundbreaking ministry.

After-School Program

The Redeemer Renaissance After-School Program will welcome students from grades 1 through 6 in September. Bus transportation will be provided from Kent Gardens and Haycock Elementary. Registration is now open. Applications are available online. The program is seeking volunteers. Do you have experience with drama, art, teaching, a craft or tutoring?
